Eleanor Tomlinson

Yorkshire born and bred, Eleanor Tomlinson is an award-winning artist and illustrator based in Willerby, East Yorkshire.  Her artwork has always been inspired by her home amongst the Yorkshire countryside and this is reflected in her work which celebrates local rural life; great and small.

Working quickly and loosely with ink and watercolour allows Eleanor to capture energy and movement as she combines traditional, well-loved subjects with a contemporary, illustrative twist.

Throughout studying for her Illustration degree, where she graduated with First-class honours at York Minster in 2019, Eleanor has developed her artworks into limited edition print, stationery and homeware ranges through working with leading UK suppliers and manufacturers. These are sold through independent retailers and galleries across the UK alongside her original pieces.

Over this time Eleanor has also created over 250 commissioned pieces for both her private and commercial clients; from beloved family pets and wildlife, to bespoke wedding stationery, venue portraits and book illustrations. She continues to send her work around the UK and the world; sending designs and pieces from East Yorkshire to as far as Australia, New York and Canada.
