JUNIPER CALLUNA by Jo Clarke Designs

Based in an historic market town in the heart of Norfolk, the Juniper Calluna brand is the creation of designer and artisan Jo Clarke. Jo studied and worked initially as a graphic designer, later following this with an MA in textile design leading to working with natural fibres.

Using only first quality full grain leather from meat industry hides which would otherwise go to landfill and sourced from reputable UK suppliers, the hides are tanned using the tannins from bark and plants which is considered to be eco-sustainable as it has a low environmental impact.

Traditional methods of leatherworking are used, hand cut leather, saddle stitching using waxed thread, hand riveting with brass rivets and an attention to detail.
